About
Maintenance Technician with hands on experience in industrial and electromechanical systems supporting 24 hour high speed manufacturing environments. I work across preventive and corrective maintenance, mechanical systems including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and chains, as well as electrical troubleshooting and safety focused operations. My work emphasizes process reliability, equipment uptime, and continuous improvement. I am particularly interested in maintenance roles in regulated or high reliability environments such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or semiconductor manufacturing, where disciplined procedures, documentation, and systematic problem solving are essential. Alongside my technical work, I bring a strong analytical background developed through more than 20 years as a bilingual Spanish and English educator and researcher working across the Americas. This experience strengthens my approach to troubleshooting, documentation, root cause analysis, and systems level problem solving in complex operational environments. I am trained in systems thinking and Community Based Participatory Research through the National Institutes of Health. This training informs a disciplined, methodical, and safety conscious approach to technical work and operational problem solving. I value clear procedures, teamwork, and environments where technical excellence, learning, and accountability are central. I am also interested in limited part time online teaching opportunities, typically one or two courses per semester, in applied or systems related subjects, while continuing to grow professionally in industrial maintenance and manufacturing operations.
