Rejat Krishnan
Associate & Corporate Relations Lead @ Nittany Lion Consulting Group
About
I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Penn State's Schreyer Honors College (Class of 2028), pursuing a Mechatronics minor and a Smeal Business Fundamentals Certificate. I'm drawn to problems that sit at the intersection of analytical rigor and real-world decision-making — which is what pulls me toward consulting. At the Nittany Lion Consulting Group, I work directly with real-world companies as a consulting associate, helping diagnose business problems and develop actionable strategies. I also serve as Corporate Relations Lead, supporting our VP in managing external firm relationships and strengthening the alumni pipeline. Outside of consulting, I trade MNQ futures through multiple prop firm accounts, managing six-figure portfolios of institutional capital under strict risk frameworks. I also built and ran a 5-week daytrading bootcamp for 30+ Penn State students — an experience that sharpened how I communicate complex ideas and teach structured thinking under pressure. On the technical side, I've done controls and robotics research at Penn State's Pangborn Advanced Controls Lab and the University of Minnesota's Biosensing & Biorobotics Lab, and interned at PAR Systems building HMI and PLC systems for industrial automation. I'm actively recruiting for summer 2027 consulting internships. Always open to connecting.
