The PhD thesis focuses on exploring a novel approach to constructing and establishing new urban settlements, considering environmental considerations, and adapting to climate change issues. The study proposes a new process and criteria for design for landscape parks inside urban clusters as a way to achieve sustainability at urban scale. This methodology reduces energy consumption in surrounding buildings and improves outdoor thermal comfort. It also incorporates value engineering principles to save project costs.
