Taught Lester Horton technique, choreographed, performed, partnered with Carmen de Lavallade in summer intensive workshops re staging dance excerpts from the works of Joyce Trisler.

Senior Adjunct Professor in Dance for over 25 years, teaching Horton technique, ballet, improvisation, dance history, dance composition, dance for actors, independent studies, and choreographed over 100 works. Choreographer for the Theater program specifically for Cabarets and musicals. Teamed with Nick Petron, Jonathon Larson and Jacques Burdick during the 80's.

Ballet East Dance Company, located in Austin, Texas is under the artistic direction of Rodolfo Mendez and associate Melissa Villarreal. Regina Larkin annually travels to Austin to teach the Lester Horton technique of dance, coach young dancers and has choreographed over fifteen dances for their repertory.

The mission of the Danscompany is to preserve the legacy and dances of Joyce Trisler while evolving the Lester Horton technique for today's dancers and communities. Partnering with Carmen de Lavallade, together we share the creative voice to accessing ease and artistry to this diverse modern dance form.

Taught Lester Horton technique from 1986-1996 and later re staged Joyce Trisler's "Le Sacre du Printemps" and "Four Temperaments" for the Ailey/Fordham dancers. Also re staged Ms. Trisler's "Journey" for Ailey II.

Manages the Curriculum Arts Project and Global Arts: cultural literacy & heritage programs that brings performing and visual arts and education to NYC Public Schools, Private Schools, Nassau BOCES and community institutions throughout the tri state area. Specific areas include the performing and visual arts of America, Africa, Asia, Native America and Latin America. Developed cultural dances with interactive performances held in the Sharp Theater at Symphony Space.
