Reeti Sanghrajka

Senior Scientist @ Waypoint Bio

About

I am a versatile biologist with expertise in (1) Oncology & Immuno-Oncology, (2) Genetics and Epigenetics, (3) Stem Cell Biology, and (4) Cellular & Molecular Biology. I have developed expertise in, and trained multiple high-school, undergraduate and graduate students in using animal models and cell-culture systems in key translational medicine applications. Over 10+ years of experience in the Life Sciences, I have gained extensive project management experience through juggling my duties as a Lab Manager and Research Assistant, to leading my PhD project in defining the role of epigenetic modulators in tumor progression and metastasis. I am also an Economist by training with experience in defining market structures and analyzing market trends, which inspired my participation in bench-to-bedside initiatives and accelerator programs. To help guide biopharmaceutical assets to market I have continued my journey of learning and developed a keen understanding of the Regulatory Landscape for Drugs/Biologics, and the skills to design business plans for medical technologies/platforms/therapeutics. I want to harness this unique training as a Scientist and Economist to accelerate the field of therapeutics.
