Founder
Fargo, North Dakota, United States
I am the Founder and CEO of Lab Liquidators LLC. Lab Liquidators is a business which specializes in buying lab equipment, with quick payment and removal. LL Science, the sales brand of this organization, specializes in sales, repair, and maintenance of analytical instruments and lab equipment.

Consultant
I provide strategic consulting and lab equipment market insights to various clients, offering data-driven perspectives on evolving market trends to inform important decisions. Beyond general advisory, I also support organizations in the lab equipment sector, from guiding acquisition strategies and vendor negotiations to overseeing decommissioning processes. Lab equipment subject matter expert. My approach helps clients optimize resources, mitigate risks, and pursue sustainable growth through a blend of analytical rigor, hands-on engagement, and strategic foresight.

Research Assistant
I researched silicon nanoparticles, silicon carbide quantum dots, and perovskite nanocrystals. I worked to synthesize and process nanocrystals, applying them to light emitting and solar cell devices. I have extensive experience with thin film deposition processes and plasma synthesis techniques as well as experience designing silicon and perovskite solar cells and light emitters. Experience with SPM, AFM, STM, SEM, TEM, NMR, FTIR, Raman, DLS, XRD, XRF, XPS, UPS, EDS, EDX, AES, HPLC, GC, GCMS, QCM, DGU, UHV XHV high vacuum systems, ultracentrifugation, optical spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, thermal analysis such as TGA, DMA, DSC, and DTA, nanocrystal synthesis, semiconductor devices, quantum confinement, nanomaterials, gas purification, gas liquefaction, cryogenics, and more.

Fulbright Scholar
Kolkata, India
I researched silicon nanocrystal hybrid perovskite films on a Fulbright-Nehru grant to India. My project was titled "Physics of Quantum Dot LEDs: Towards an Efficient Light Source." With increasing pollution and decreasing fossil fuels, clean energy is a pertinent global issue. Countries around the world are investing in clean energy research and subsidizing energy-saving devices. In May 2018, India announced a new wind-solar hybrid policy encouraging the development of new technologies. In a country as highly populated as India, any increase in efficiency would have enormous implications for decreases in energy usage. One promising avenue for advancing clean energy is through increasing the efficiency of solar cells and the devices that use their energy. As an example, light emitting diodes (LEDs) have been widely used in light fixtures due to their improved efficiency compared to incandescent bulbs. Silicon quantum dot research has the potential to improve the efficiency of LED lights even further. Quantum Dots are nanoscale particles which have size-dependent optical and electronic properties. Because quantum dots enable efficient transmission of energy, quantum dot research is of importance for advancing clean energy technology. This was the main thrust of my research at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science.
Education

Physics
During my MS, I researched silicon and silicon carbide nanocrystals, bulk perovskite, perovskite nanocrystals, and perovskite devices. Special interest in cryogenics and mechanical design. I synthesized and Characterized nanocrystal solutions, implemented them in both optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices. Experience with PVD, sputtering, PECVD, CVD, low-temperature plasmas, spin-coating, electron spectroscopy, STM, AFM, inert-gas glove boxes, high vacuum chambers, optical and force probe microscopy, IV curves and device efficiency measurements.
