Reece Sharp

I manage termly budgets for a student organization of over 300 members, overseeing thousands of dollars in funding each term. I maintain and update detailed spreadsheets to track expenses, reimbursements, and overall financial activity. Working closely with the executive board, I help plan and allocate funds for events and programming to ensure responsible and effective use of resources.

Elected by my peers to represent the Class of 2028 in Dartmouth Student Government, I serve as a voice for student interests and work to advance policies that improve campus life. In this role, I lead student-led projects from concept to implementation and regularly collaborate with college administrators to ensure initiatives are effectively executed and responsive to community needs. Through this work, I’ve gained experience in leadership, advocacy, and cross-campus collaboration.

As a blogger for People Places Pine I write a weekly blog post for Dartmouth College and share my experience as a student on campus.

I managed social media accounts to promote a competitive fellowship program and connect with potential applicants. I also organized and led information sessions to share details about the opportunity, answer questions, and encourage students to apply. As part of the program, we worked to educate students on local political advocacy and provided resources to help them get involved in their communities and take meaningful political action.

As a campaign fellow for Jolene4NH’s state representative campaign in Grafton 6, I canvassed over 50 homes to promote electoral awareness and civic participation. I organized several Get Out the Vote parties and assisted in executing more than 4 constituency events, fostering community connections and mobilizing voters. My efforts contributed to the closest election margins in the district's history, highlighting my commitment to empowering constituents and advancing democratic engagement.
