Ken Koo

Since 2005, Ken has been the Asia President of the Red Dot Design Award. This award has an illustrious 70-year history and is one of the largest and most prestigious design awards in the world today. In 2005, Ken, together with Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, the founder of the Red Dot Design Award, initiated the third installation of the design award with the Red Dot Award for Design Concept. In the same year, he redeveloped a historical building in Singapore, and created the iconic red dot Traffic building, a creative hub that housed the second Red Dot Design Museum in the world and numerous companies from the creative industries. In 2015, Ken helped develop the Contemporary Good Design Award in China and remains as an advisor till today. From 2016 to 2018, he helped develop the third Red Dot Design Museum in China. In 2017, Ken redeveloped the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore to be located at the Marina Bay of Singapore.

Accenture was called Andersen Consulting during that time and I was in Business Process Group. focusing on using SAP to facilitate changes and improve business processes. At Accenture, I was in the teams that serve Caterpillar Tractors, British American Tobacco, Exxon Mobil and Sony Ericsson.
