1) Development of new and promotional packaging to meet marketing expectations. 2) Completion of specification details 3) Coordination and attendence in support of marketing at On Line Approval for new printed Packaging. 4) Cordination and attendence at production trails of new packaging, Preparation of trail reports. 5) Cordination of necessary information at suppliers trails for new packaging, Preparation of trail reports. 6) Completion of necessary information for SAP and BOM to facilitate effective stock control by Inbound Supply Chain. 7) Development of skills and knowledge of current and future packaging materials. 8) Support Packaging Development Team to deliver Optimum packaging solutions 9) Implement packaging cost saving initiatives.

•Coordinating internally within Almarai Company for approvals of the artworks. •Ensuring the right form of digital info is available on the CDs going to suppliers •Coordinating with suppliers for confirming and ensuring agreement to approvals. •Coordinating for Online Approvals at Supplier end if applicable. •Coordinating for setting up Quality Standards for Colors and layouts (in terms of Shade Cards, Print references, etc.,) •Ensuring the key-lines provided to the marketing are updated and self explanatory as possible. •Highlighting merits and risks associated with different Colors over the concerned Surface with the Printing technology deployed. •Ensuring the Barcodes we have on our packaging are easily scan-able in the market place. •Manage all databases pertaining to printed packaging material. i.e. Artworks, Barcodes, CD movement log. etc. •Visit Market and do a market survey on packs available and proposing for possibility of employing those for Almarai Business. •Co-ordinating and Conducting Trials under the guidance of immediate superiors, share report on the trial with superiors to conclude on the Trials. •Supporting superiors in Packaging Development Projects to meet deadlines. •Develop procedures for the Packaging artwork implementation process and other processes the role covers. •Visit suppliers and get thorough knowledge of the Prepress and Printing processes at their end.

•Conduct full range of laboratory physical, chemical and microbial tests to determine incoming packaging material. •Maintain laboratory in a clean, safe and hygienic state and report any defects, problems or unsafe methods immediately. •Reporting all the test deviations to Supervisor for further decision and actions. •Maintain all specified documentation in a timely and accurate manner and liaise with associated personnel. •Assist in the investigation process when a problem arises or when requested to do it and conduct analysis or study projects assigned to him. •Carry out duties assigned by Laboratory Supervisor/Lab Manager in accordance with AQA Manuals. •Assist continuous improvement team in doing the investigations. •Depending on assigned duty, a laboratory technician may be involved in any combination of the full range of tests. In addition, the following duties may be assigned: •Conduct special project/micro work and generate subsequent reports. •Implement and monitor AQA procedures. •Utilize specific expertise to improve laboratory methods, testing procedures, or production process. •Consider test methods and ways of improving consistency of results. •Assist the continuous improvement team in doing the investigations by timely supply of test results of the given special samples. •Place non-conforming product on immediate hold and report problems to laboratory supervisor for further decisions. •Sampling, analyse incoming packaging materials and prepare analysis reports. •Carry out equipment calibration in an efficient & timely manner. •Liaise with manufacturing personnel and conduct required Line Performance Trial.

• Process control for Jar, Slices, Tins, triangle. • Physico – chemical analyses ( DM , Moisture , PH , Salt , Colour , Texture ) of finished goods, Ingredients / Raw Materials , Shelf – life , Heat – stressed and trial samples . • Physico – chemical analyses of Water samples (RO, Raw, Boiler, etc). • Physical and chemical checks for incoming Packaging materials. • Physical and chemical testing for incoming Ingredients materials. • Daily / Weekly Heat stress / blowing checks for Finished Products. • Chemical analyses for CIP water (Caustic, Acid, PAA, etc).
