I am currently responsible for the after school care of two elementary-aged children, ages 9 and 7 years old. I manage several household chores such as keeping the kitchen tidy, doing the children's laundry, and packing the children's lunch for each school day. Additionally, I help each child with their homework after school, providing direction and tutoring when necessary. I incorporate behavior management and training by using a chore chart that I created and implemented for the family. The chart incorporates positive and negative reinforcement while also providing the children with stability and consistency in what I and their parents expect from them in terms of attitude, manners, and behavior.

Case Management: doing intake appointments, setting goals with clients, encouraging clients using a strengths based approach, maintaining weekly case management meetings with clients, connecting clients to resources such as housing, employment, food, clothing, etc. At Trinity, we refer to our clients as "Neighbors" Center Duties: being available to answer questions for the neighbors, making sure the resource bin was full and ready, helping to assemble breakfasts, using assessment skills and knowledge of resources to help with financial assistance days

Case Management: doing intakes with pregnant teenage girls and potentially expecting teenage boys, assessing needs of clients, helping connect clients to other resources such as food stamps, pregnancy preparation programs, and furthering education programs Implemented college preparation with the students by providing them with information on how to apply, where to apply, and resources for funding
