Rebeka Ozolniece

I stepped in early in a professional field because I believe in authenticity, faith, and confidence that brings success. But, of course, knowledge, education and experience are earned with time. Such virtues I strongly admire in myself and even more in my colleagues from whom I can learn. I began my career in 2021 as Head of Communications for the Latvian Athletics Association at just 21 years old, coming from my own background as an athlete. My passion for athletics has only grown since then. In 2022, I participated in the European Athletics "Young Leaders Forum" in Munich. It was a pivotal moment that affirmed my dedication to the world of sports. In 2023, I contributed to organizing first-ever World Athletics Road Running Championships in Latvia. In 2024 I joined the team behind the largest road running race in the Baltics. Currently, I work full-time there as Head of Communications for the Rimi Riga Marathon, where I continue to explore the beauty of athletics from a new perspective - long-distance running. My priorities in the professional field are communication, journalism, public speech, content creation, event organisation and hosting.
