Rebecca Marimutu (she/they) is a photographer, artist, and educator working across self-portraiture, installation, video, and bookmaking. Their interdisciplinary practice explores themes of memory, mourning, lineage, and spatial politics through tactile and time-based media. Marimutu’s work has been exhibited nationally at venues including the Blue Sky Oregon Center for Photography, BlackRock Center for the Arts, SPRING/BREAK Art Show, and Goucher College, and has been featured in ArtForum, BmoreArt, Good Black Art, Art and About PDX, and Variable West, among others.
