During the run up to London Fashion Week, I interned at Obscure Couture. My main duties were managing with press requests, sending out invitations, managing guest lists, preparing garments for press and aiding Obscure Couture in the general running of the studio in the follow up to the show; including pattern cutting and basic sewing.

During my third year of university, I interned at Becky White PR two days a week. My main duties included compiling trend reports and coverage reports for clients, posting products out to press and media, and keeping the showroom well organised and general research into the fashion industry - including latest trends and influencers.

I was an Event Volunteer with Mission PR for the Look Magazine show in the new Westfield Shopping Centre during London Fashion Week. The day included setting up the VIP lounge, prepping goodie bags for press and guests, communicating with the public, leading VIPs and guests to their allocated seats and overall ensuring the day ran as smoothly as possible.

I joined Stripe Communications as part of their Stars & Stripes Graduate Scheme for a four month internship, and returned for a month of freelance work during February 2016. During my time I worked with a diverse range of clients, including Magners Irish Cider and Buchanan Galleries; and numerous press outlets across the U.K. I also had the opportunity to be involved with the preparation and running of several events, including secret music gigs and on-street activations. Each client had a different range of demands, including press releases, working events, feature writing, photo calls, event planning and research - all to strict deadlines. My time at Stripe has allowed me to experiment with digital design and develop my skills in a consumer environment, creating images for social and corporate platforms for Midori and Magners. Every day at Stripe presented a different challenge and taught me valuable skills in juggling priorities, time management and communication.

As a sales associate in Agent Provocateur I had daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI's to meet. My role also involved maintaining clients and ensuring they returned to the Boutique, this was done by ensuring a positive experience was had and that I possessed a stellar product knowledge so they felt they were in capable hands. During my time with Agent Provocateur I focussed a lot on the Visual Merchandising within the store. I'd ensure the windows and gift tables inside the store were eye catching and encouraged sales. I also aided our Freelance VM in assembling the store's eye catching and dramatic window displays.
