• Developed a comprehensive supplier capability matrix to capture performance across technical metrics, quality systems, and business needs with existing and future suppliers. Identified 10 new potential suppliers and secured 2 new RFIs. • Data mined External Ops parts files for reclassification and executed an estimated cost avoidance of $75K+. • Evaluated PO contract pricing vs actual and identified a potential savings of over $160K. Developed a new process that will be scaled across additional categories and regions.

• Procuring ~$500,000 in operational materials for the Marshalltown plant monthly. Troubleshoot all PO issues with the Shipping, Receiving, Accounting, and Engineering departments. • Organized SAP setup for first time purchase orders, material masters, source list, MRP-Individual Planning, and scheduling agreements. • Developed weekly supplier meetings to discuss all outstanding issues and re-prioritize any urgent deliveries. • Participate in daily meeting with buyers, master scheduler, and purchasing manager to review and escalate all component checks that are forecasting negative inventory and take action with suppliers. • Developed ways to ensure attention to detail when initiating all PO’s and ensuring billing and delivery timing is accurate.

• Constructed a value stream map for the 3PL to visualize information flow between the warehouse to production facilities. Implementation at all sites is under review. • Reported on KPIs for warehouse performance using graphical data allowing leadership to make quick decisions. • Worked with procurement to finalize the P&E workbook to maintain and improve upon material inflow resulting in multiple reduced changeovers. • Performed operational time studies at 3PL to obtain an accurate picture of lead time for parts orders. • Created a log for 3PL shuttle times improving OTD performance, resulting in a 15% improvement. • Organized a focus team within the Transportation Department to resolve mis-shipped packages and educating others on RCPS (root cause problem solving). • Leveraged SAP systems to run operational scripts on facility performance.
