Built HR department from scratch meaning: Overcame different company and culture integrations and change of stakeholders, shifting payroll provider going from 5 to 1 including simplifying pay slips in close consultation with Unions, restructured the Management Team in Spain (including downsizing and new manager hires in less than 30 days) continuously exposed to recruitment & selection (both internal & external), owned and executed all kind of plans to improve employee engagement at the sites, defined and executed several process and procedures to enhance management practices such as law complying support, learning and development, performance, HR data , retention procedures and performed internal annual salary benchmarks to build a compensation and benefit guideline.

During the transition period (AGRO acquired APC) , I contributed to develop the short term commercial plan for Spain which consisted of writing the commercial strategy including: Spanish Market analysis and research of potential clients, the establishment and nurturing of targets, analysis of the competition whilst leading an external commercial team & project. Participated in several tenders and brought in a leading food group in the deep-frozen vegetable sector with a global turnover of approximately €300 million

Main contributions: - General management of the company, establishing and monitoring policies and strategies. Set up business and department objectives, such as financial, commercial and operational goals. - Financial management (cash management, budgets, investments, financing, monitoring results) - Representation and negotiation with customers, suppliers and Public Institutions - Direct report to company owners - Team leadership and Human Resources management - Implementation of ISO, IFS and SMETAS standards

During my 125 tutition hours, I have covered the most relevant aspects of labor law and the Spanish Social Security system .Likewise, the realization of the different employment contracts, as well as the resolution of the questions derived from them, the preparation of the salary receipt, the calculation of benefits and the completion of the contribution and its corresponding documents to the labor procedure. This course has added to my Generalist background, specialised knowledge of the HR admin function.
