In my prior role with Clariant, I led high-performing teams across 17 sites in Europe, the USA and Asia, covering engineering and investment, catalyst production, process development, performance management, global tolling, and automation and digitalization experts. My remits included CAPEX Management, Automation & Digitalization and Operations Performance Management, and I managed 10 direct reports, 33 indirect reports and functioned as sole point of contact for technology and knowledge transfer. The role covered three areas: O&P North business development, Site development, and Koeln energy commercial management Main accountabilities were: - Strategic planning to identify, evaluate, support, and lead Business Development Projects (new business area, capacity expansions, acquisitions, JVs, new products / customers / suppliers, infrastructure, toll manufacturing upto 1.20 Billion Euro) - Develop a global view of the petrochemical market and ensure that potential opportunities for Ineos are assessed and progressed - Identify and manage projects to further development of the sites by increase EBIDTA and CASH flow in the areas of infrastructure, feedstock, energy, products, and processes in the production network - Lead and support commercial activities related to Koeln Energy Asset - Lead site projects and provide commercial support for service contracts and projects related to area and real estate management - Identify and build relationships with target customers, suppliers and co-producers - Ensure cross business investment synergy for the Koeln site (yearly investment: ca.160 M€) - Lead projects for the settlement of third parties in Cologne and supporting settlement projects in the INEOS O&P North locations Rafnes / Bamble ( Norway ), Lillo and Geel ( Belgium ) - Lead projects related to energy market compliance (REMIT) and natural gas grid connection - Act as an interface and support commercial activities for Cologne site related to hydrogen, steam, natural gas, and electricity (budget: 250M€/y)

-Prepared CAPEX Proposals to be approved by the board of the corresponding Business Unit after defining scopes, benefits and calculating project economics -Responsible for developing and executing concurrent CAPEX Projects ranging in size while leading multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and technicians -Managed the monitoring of projects through reporting cash flow and budget forecasting, third-party contractor activities, global supplier negotiations for project procurement and ensuring delivery of projects on time and within budget Key Achievements -Successfully managed and led three ‘Growth’ projects, eight ‘SHE’ or ‘LTO’ (License to Operate) projects, two ‘Maintenance’ projects, one ‘Innovation’ project and three Feasibility studies -Sourced two catalyst addition systems from USA, which comply with INEOS Köln standard and specification for pressure vessel which was the first time Cologne site sourced pressure vessel from USA -Identified the optimal strategies for Cologne site to minimize natural gas transport cost -Developed and successfully implemented a new environmental friendly and safe to handle process (Eliminating Exposure to Toxic Chemicals)- received the 2014-2015 INEOS Group PSM (Process Safety Management) awards (announced in 2016)

Process and Project Engineer

-Responsible for Acrylonitrile process/production optimization, investigating and troubleshooting the problems of Acrylonitrile production plants -Developed safety and environmental solutions, managed a budget of up to €1 million for CAPEX and REVEX projects and coordinated with INEOS Nitriles Technology Group, Naperville, USA for process development Key Achievements -Developed innovative solutions for ‘Liquid Inhibitor and Stabilizer Handling’ and ‘Catalyst Sampling System’ resulting inimplementation to other INEOS plants -Successfully designed several shell and tube heat exchangers as well as evaluated two ‘Plant Optimization’ ideas (which were installed and applied to plant) -Provided technical solution to construct new product supply line as a member of emergency support team after fire in the product tank at INEOS Köln site in 2008
