Support BUs for operation excellence implementation with lean sigma tools in APAC 1. Conduct diagnostics for site to identify gaps for improvement, closely follow up and support local team to understand the gaps, apply lean tools to close the gaps in around half a year interval. 2. Advice, coach and support sites implement Clariant Production System Blueprints and forester the culture of continuous improvement within the site. 3. Regularly conduct audit/checkup for site maturity levels within APAC region to ensure sustainability of continuous improvement. 4. Functioning as competence center, working together with BU/site for improvement projects 5. Roll out digital operational projects/tools at APAC region

Responsible for 1. Manage China Nitrile Amine Plant operations based on Global Amines strategy 2. Supply chain activities for the site 3. EHS & Process improvements 4. People and site relationship management.

• Assist GM to setup JV according to Clariant / GAC Germany operational model 1. Technical know-how transfer from GAC Germany 2. Process improvement and cost saving works. 3. Tolling setup with Zhenjiang involving CSD/procurement/finance/QC/logistics departments 4. Bridge services from Wilmar & Clariant for JV operations 5. Harmonize product specifications globally with GAC Germany plant

• Alkyl-Ketene-Dimer (AKD) Plant 1. Realize the first toluene free AKD production line with brand new process 2. Cost reduction by process improvements. 3. AKD market support to grow market share • Joint venture setup discussion; support R&D for patent works; • Initiate and setup site SOP practice

Oleo Chemical Plant • Manage daily production issues, including EHS, utilization, processing cost and quality • Implement global strategy, leading feed stock studies for strong competitiveness

Fatty alcohol plant Joint Venture with Sasol : • Project erection, QC lab setup, process know-how transfer • In charge of daily production issues, including safety, improvement, cost saving projects and market support. • Work closely with Oleo plant for different trials of acid feed to widen the raw material selection, reduce COGS and improve competitiveness • Helped Oleo plant to bring alive the biodiesel glycerin plant which has struggled for more than half a year

Supporting SG office to expand our oleo chemical sales: • Managed to grow the volume to 30% of the annual sales. • Lead CSD/Logistics/QA/Production team to satisfy our global customers covering Japan, Korea, SEA and USA

Participate 1st Oleo chemical plant setup for Wilmar Oleo: • Work with JJ Lurgy engineers for plant commissioning and operational staff training.
