Things I do: • Lead the end-to-end UX processes of two Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform services: Application Performance Monitoring and Database Management. • Utilize a variety of iterative and collaborative design methodologies at a large scale to create innovative features and UX improvements, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and design spec creation and more. • Leverage deep familiarity with design systems and component patterns to quickly and effectively mockup new designs within Oracle's OCI and Redwood style guides. • Present designs to key decision makers to build consensus and guide the development roadmap. • Work directly with technical leads of large development teams to hand-off designs and provide ongoing design support. What I work on: 1. Application Performance Monitoring. This OCI service offers Oracle customers greater insights into their user's experiences by leveraging real and synthetic end-user monitoring, server monitoring, and distributed tracing. This information is delivered in the form of enterprise dashboards, providing end-to-end visibility across the customer’s entire user base and IT estate. 2. Database Management. This Oracle Cloud service provides customers with deep visibility of their entire database ecosystem, including configurations, storage, users, and objects. Users can monitor and tune database performance, from the session down to individual SQL queries. Database Management enables customers to have a unified view for monitoring, management, and performance optimization for Oracle databases deployed in OCI, other clouds, and on-premises.

• Led iterative design processes consisting of user research, user flows, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity specs alongside frequent internal stakeholder and customer critique and validation. • Directly interfaced with customers to gain a strong understanding of who they are, their goals, needs, pain points, and how they wish to work within our products. • Collaborated with PM, Engineering, C-suite, and other internal teams in order to create ideal solutions for given timelines, resources, and technical constraints. • Presented designs to the company to generate buy-in with persuasive storytelling • Collaborated with front-end development teams to create and maintain a Design Language, Design System, and comprehensive, modern Component Library. • Engaged in ongoing Jira ticket specification and support to provide engineers a seamless hand-off and continual guidance based on design documents.

• Evaluated AppGuard Inc. products and competing products to identify opportunities to enhance user comprehension, streamline usability, and implement modern aesthetics. • Designed user interface prototypes based on evaluation results and requirements as specified by engineering and product management to guide development. • Created and presented detailed design mockups and graphics to director-level and C-Suite stakeholders to show progress and achieve consensus on future development. • Reviewed implementation plans with software engineering counterparts and provide continual support for asset management and design direction. • Refined UI design based on feedback from end-users and AppGuard colleagues.

• Designed modern user interfaces for global cybersecurity products for use on smartphones, tablets, and desktops based on high-level functional requirements. • Managed the holistic design process from research and branding, to wireframes and mock-ups, to high-fidelity prototypes for developer handoff and feedback. • Worked directly with developers and C-Suite stakeholders in a fast moving, Agile environment to develop innovative software applications for a global market.

• Designed, administered, and maintained 10+ websites utilizing user-centered design practices and CMS for a variety of clients, including current members of congress, political organizations, and international non-profits. • Utilized modern UX design processes including user journey mapping, wireframing, and prototyping into the design of websites, database portals, and apps. • Designs key brands, graphics, websites, and marketing materials for major DC events, including the 2017 Bipartisan Presidential Inaugural Ball and the 2017 Congressional Baseball Game.

• Created web and print designs within existing brands for Honda, Yamaha, Harley Davidson, Ducati, and Bombardier supporting 30+ retail stores in 11 states. • Designed three in-house individual motorcycle accessory product brands from the first naming ideation stage through final production, packaging design, and advertised promotional material. • Created innovative and engaging point-of-purchase displays and designed user interface prototypes for marketing software.
