Member of the Disaster Recovery Operations Team. Managed DR Technical Team. Developed and exercised Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans for Lines of Business as well as IT systems. System administrator for Fusion Risk Management’s Fusion Framework, used for developing and exercising IT DR Plans (I was previously system admin for LDRPS, expert on Crystal Reports). Expert on creating PDFs (Conga Composer, SOQL, and MS Word Templates) in the Fusion Framework. Performed both technical and LOB Impact Analysis. Created extensive documentation of DR/BC processes. Worked with notification tools (MIR3, Everbridge), as well as automation products CA PAM and Automic. Helped administer Service Now tool. Performed extensive data import and export of data to/from disparate sources, using VB and SQL tools. Worked with mainframe and distributed systems and teams during exercises. Worked with the Archer GRC product, which BB&T-now-Truist transitioned to after the merger with Sun Trust.

Supporting DR Testers and Planners in their technology needs (creating/maintaining reports, supporting team software and hardware, etc.) 2017 - Converted BB&T from using LDRPS 10 to using the Fusion Framework. Became very good at Data Loader and Conga Composer usage. Present - System Admin on the Fusion Framework package. Have become very proficient at developing/modifying/maintaining outputs using Conga Composer and SOQL.

Member of the Business Continuity Management Team. Worked with various aspects of IT Disaster Recovery in assisting definition and development of DR plans. Supported in-house BIA system written in MS Access. Provided primary support of SunGard’s LDRPS v10.3. In addition to overall LDRPS administration, I developed and maintained LDRPS Security (including Dynamic and Folder-Based) as well as custom Crystal Reports.

Performed Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis for TransCore.

Assisted in the development of several hundred Business Continuity Plans for this Fortune 50 company. Conducted BIA interviews. Helped maintain and train users on LDRPS software. Wrote custom applications in MS Access & SQL to manipulate BIA & LDRPS data.

Developed corporate Disaster Recovery strategy & architecture and detailed Line-of-Business Disaster Recovery Plans. Educated client on current “best practices” for Business Continuity Planning. Identified interdependencies across applications and systems, including enterprise applications such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Enterprise Identity Management, and custom applications. Assisted in conforming Disaster Recovery practices to HIPAA requirements.

Coordinated with senior management as well as system administrators on development, documentation, and testing of detailed Business Resumption and Disaster Recovery plans. Performed Business Impact Analysis to identify Y2K-rollover exposures/risks, and to develop Y2K-specific Contingency Plans. Created, tested, and implemented detailed Disaster Recovery Plans for Windows NT, including SQL and Exchange. Coordinated major CNF Disaster Recovery / Comdisco Hot-Site tests which included mainframe, SUN, NT and AS/400 systems.
