I worked for 21 years as department supervisor/chief photographer with the University of Florida Relations/News office. Prior to that worked at commercial studios in Fort Lauderdale and Salt Lake City, as well as a freelance photojournalist for various news papers and magazines. I am now a freelance editorial, event, commercial and fine art photographer as well as photographer/journalist for Alachua County Today newspaper and Mainstreet Daily News. My fine art work has been featured in over 50 exhibits in Utah, New York, North Carolina and Florida. My editorial /journalism work has been featured in over 75 magazines and newspapers. To me, photography is not just a career, it is a passion......a chance to stop time, freeze a moment in the world around us forever. It is there for all to see forever. I also have a strong interest in history , which shows in my art and stock photography. I have written the internationally published book " The Civil War Soldier - A Photographic Journey" , and been the principal photographer for 3 other books. My photographs have also been featured in 9 books by other authors.

I was the unit supervisor and chief photographer for University Relations Photography section. I produced images for news releases, publications, advertising, portraits and events for university departments and commercial clients.Also worked with major news organizations such as Reuters, Associated Press and other to publish images of news and research stories from the university. Other duties as manager included , billing, budget,co ordination of assignments, management of equipment, client relations and management of the UF photographic archive, spanning 40 years of images.
