Ravindra Singh Bhati

I am an Independent MLA from the Sheo Assembly Constituency in Rajasthan, having achieved a historic victory in the 2023 Assembly Elections as an Independent candidate. In 2024, I contested the Lok Sabha elections as an Independent from the Jaisalmer-Barmer-Balotra constituency. My journey in public service began as the first-ever Independent Student Union President at Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU) in 2019, where I led the Chhatra Kranti movement, mobilizing over 500,000 students for education reform and successfully prevented the unfair sale of 39 acres of university land to the JDA. I also led a gherao of the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha to advocate for critical reforms. During my tenure, I protested for the rights of pensioners and students, including undertaking a hunger strike while incarcerated to amplify these causes. Beyond student leadership, I launched the Govansh Bachao Abhiyan, saving over 20,000 cows from Lumpy Skin Disease, and organized the Run for Registan, engaging 7,000+ youth and attracting 30,000+ attendees to promote community unity. My commitment to grassroots engagement led to the Sheo Jan Samvad Yatra and Dhanyawad Padyatra, covering 600+ villages to connect with constituents. Additionally, I organized the Rohidi Musical Festival, fostering cultural pride and supporting local artists with significant youth participation. Passionate about grassroots development, youth empowerment, rural reform, and women’s empowerment, I continue to drive impactful change through community-driven initiatives.
