• Developed strategy, get buy in internally, fund raise and launch a Social Enterprise Incubator in Kampala, Uganda, focused on enabling local social entrepreneurs to build social businesses that directly impact the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP). Did market research by interviewing 15 hubs & incubators, numerous investors and entrepreneurs across Africa to formulate strategy for Incubator v2. • Led team to create financial model for an application for a $3 Million extension to Gates Foundation for the CKW program, which resulted in approval and successful funding from the BMGF Foundation. • Assisted in formulating strategy for sustainability for the CKW (Community Knowledge Worker) program.

Worked on the sustainability of the MoTeCH (Mobile Technology for Community Health) program, a Grameen Foundation program in Ghana funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The MoTeCH mHealth program works with the Ghana Health Service to deliver SMS and Voice messages to improve maternal & infant health for families at the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) in rural areas. • Explored existing ideas and developed new innovative ideas for revenue generation to scale nationally and for long-term sustainability of MoTeCH program • Developed strategy for cross-subsidization of free services by income generating activities • Worked with MTN Ghana to develop premium for-fee mHealth products for middle class • Worked with MicroEnsure to develop a new micro insurance product to cover pregnant women customers of MFI's, etc. • Investigated and evaluated the feasibility of an advertising based revenue model

groupSPARK was acquired by mindSHIFT Technologies, Inc. in April 2008. I continued my previous role (CEO of groupSPARK) and became the head of this new business unit within mindSHIFT and reporting directly to the CEO of mindSHIFT. We continued to gain momentum as the leader in Private Label SaaS application hosting and signed new channel partners such as XO Communications and Avnet.
