Characterized the high speed serdes links between peer-peer Muxponder cards across Backplane. Also worked on tuning the on-board high speed serdes links for Muxponder FRU.

Worked with this premier Optical Networking company in designing high-speed boards for multi-terabit routers. Worked on schematics design for high speed evaluation backplanes and test cards. Worked extensively on characterization of high-speed serdes links and optimizing the serdes performance in close collaboration with ASIC team. Experienced in python scripting and test framework development for serdes characterisation. Performed eDVT, SI, Power and Functional and other component qualifications (memory, pluggable modules etc.) on boards and also thermal testing at FRU and system level. Worked with Broadcom Packet Processor, and other interfaces like DDR3, UART, PCIe etc.. Performed bring-up and debugging of various boards while working with cross-functional engineering teams(FPGA/ASIC, Diagnostics, SW, SDK) and Systems Manufacturing. Well-versed with lab measurements using high speed oscilloscopes, testers, evaluation boards, spectrum analyzers, power supplies and optical devices. Working knowledge of Linux and object oriented programming.

This is an interdisciplinary master's programme, jointly offered by Departments of Physics and Electrical Engineering of IIT Delhi.
