Lead a team of professionals to provide data-driven insights for the card and non card business of American Express leveraging machine learning techniques to mitigate credit and fraud risk. Team built and enhanced key models, decision framework and data products to mitigate risk and identify revenue opportunities.

• Led the development of transaction based underwriting strategy for small business and consumer business of American Express which led to PTI income of $10M •Led the end to end development of customer level adverse action strategies for small business and consumer portfolio which led to PTI of $7.5M •End to end development and implementation of first party fraud strategies: Deferred remit for NG checks, Cardmember abuse index for corporate cardmembers, credit bust out ,collusion and association scanners •Monitor portfolio profile and performance to optimize strategies across customer management, originations and collections •End to end development of over limit strategies for Small business portfolio and consumer portfolio which led to increased annual spend of $300M with a profitable default rate
