Employed as a full-time process engineer, working on HAOR (Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery) Revamp Project. Tasks involve P&ID reviews, PFD reviews, HAZOP and HAZID procedures, as well as on site experience with the refinery units.

My internship at Honeywell UOP had two stages. At the first stage I was assigned to the Technical Support department, where my role was to analyse the data coming from the process equipment (PENEX isomerisation unit) and generate a technical report followed by the presentation. At the second stage of the internship I was transferred to the design department, where I became familiar with the simulation software (Unisim). The main task for the second stage was the simulation of the isomerisation unit using Unisim. Overall, the experience at Honeywell UOP gave me a good understanding of a professional working environment as well as technical background which advanced my knowledge of the field.
