As Co-Owner of Art Beauty Equilibrium, LLC in Hawthorne and Senses Salon in Hancock Park, I oversee multilocation operations, team development, and brand strategy for two vibrant salon communities in Los Angeles. My husband and I, both licensed professionals with over 20 years of experience, founded these spaces to create an inclusive and elevated beauty experience where artistry and wellness meet. Our mission is to empower both clients and stylists offering premium services, educational growth, and a culture rooted in integrity and creativity. We are also the creators of Honey Nut & Cocoa, a family founded premium hair care line designed to nourish natural textures and elevate healthy hair care standards across all hair types. From growing our in-salon brands to expanding into product development, my passion lies in building meaningful connections and helping beauty professionals thrive in an ever evolving industry.

Provides salon services (hair cutting / styling, color, and beauty treatments). Recruits salon staff and prepares schedules. Establishes goals for staff, evaluated performance, and provides training / guidance. Monitors salon supplies / equipment and orders new stock. Creates / distributes promotional material to attract new clients. Consulted with clients on stylistic options for their hair. Listened to clients' needs to determine their preferences. Described different hair care products and their benefits. Shampooed, cut, colored, and highlighted hair. Offered manicure, pedicure, waxing, and facial services, and performed scalp treatments. Acted as salespersons to sell clients hair care retail products. Built a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits. Adhered to salon safety and cleanliness standards. Managed bookings and welcomed clients. Kept current on hairstyle trends and styling methods. Enhanced facial aesthetics through makeup and created custom looks based on their specifications. Removed makeup after usage on film sets and worked with actors on movie sets. Took lighting / setting into account when applying makeup and determined which colors were the most suitable. Worked with costume designers, set designers, and stylists to ensure consistency. Understood what a director wants a character to look like, resulting in a diverse cosmetic toolkit. Resolves client complaints regarding salon services and employee behavior. Processes clients’ payments and maintains accurate financial records. Ensures that the salon is clean and well-maintained at all times.
