Working in the department of Epidemiology directly under a university professor, assisting to research and administrative tasks.

This opportunity will allow me to support the surveillance and transmission of COVID-19, Influenza, Dengue, and Zika Virus within Nicaraguan households. I will learn and utilize laboratory techniques specific to PCR testing.

I started volunteering when I was in high school, and continued it in college. I have volunteered in various floors of the hospital, such as mother/baby, pediatrics, and medical/surgical. I gained an immense amount of experience in a hospital setting.

I helped international students, parents, teachers, and those who live in the community to speak English fluently and with more confidence.

I have worked at Hollister for 3+ years and I currently work there on a seasonal basis. This job came with a lot of customer service experience and resolving problems. I also have experience dealing with mailing and shipping companies, because I would send out and receive the packages for the store.

This was a mission trip I took through Michigan State University. The trip consisted of volunteer work done in various cities. Such as, Nashville, TN; Louisville, KY; Charleston, SC; Atlanta, GA; Savannah, GA; etc. I volunteered in different food banks, rebuilding orphan homes, river clean-ups, and decorating buildings.
