Rashed Awaji

Rashed Awaji has over 17 years of diversified practical experience in auditing, forensic accounting, corporate liquidation, development of financial regulations, policies, and accounting procedures, and zakat and tax reporting. Mr. Awaji holds Master of Science in Forensic Accounting (2012) from Texas A&M University in the United States, and a SOCPA member since 2004. In 2013, He founded Awaji CPAs in Riyadh with a vision to grow internationally and work as a world class professional services firm that has a Global thinking and local presence. In order to that, Awaji CPAs joined Alliot group – a worldwide alliance of accounting and law firms in 2016 becoming the representative firm in Saudi Arabia. His qualifications and experience encouraged Saudi General Authority for Zakat and Tax to seek his cooperative consultation for the application of VAT in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Awaji is an active member of SOCPA where he conducts peer review over professional accounting and auditing service firms in Saudi Arabia and provides training courses sponsored by SOCPA. In addition, Mr. Awaji serves in the audit committee of one a real estate investments Saudi joint-stock companies. Mr. Awaji was recognized by judicial authorities in Saudi Arabia as highly trusted person to perform judicial custody, expert witness, investigation, dispute resolution, adjudication, fraud investigation, and assessment of losses. Currently a certified accountant in General Court in Riyadh.
