I am incharge for procurement and planning for raw materials at Al-Ittefaq Steel Company. Job tasks include: 1) Prepare the purchase plan for materials according to the consumption history and future production forecast. 2) Send the enquiries/tenders to suppliers and collect the quotations based on our requirement. 3) Review the technical details to ensure it match with our requirement and get the final confirmation from end user. 4) Negotiate with suppliers which approved technically on commercial & delivery terms. 5) Decide the sharing plan between suppliers as per commercial terms and technical recommendation from end user. 6) Create the purchase order/contracts to vendors based on approved sharing plan. 7) Following up with suppliers to ensure the delivery according to purchase orders. 8) Maintain the complete logistic process up to final delivery (including arranging forwarders for incoterms EXW & FOB & checking and confirming the shipping documents). 9) Follow up for invoices and payments to be completed as per approved payment terms. 10) Contact with suppliers in case of any technical issue related to the materials to find solutions. 11) Development of new suppliers to improve alternative economic sources with approved quality. 12) Introduce new materials to end user which could improve the performance of production and save the cost. 13) Review current stock situation and update the plant for future deliveries to revise the purchase plan in case of any change in consumption and production forecast to avoid materials shortage. 14) Use SAP products to ensure smooth process and availability of all information and updated details in system to maintain the history records for each case. 15) Provide technical training for new staff to improve their skills and productivity.

I was incharge for the procurement for MRM (Metals recycling mills) and Altuwairqi Transportations. My achievements during my time there: 1) Improve the procurement process in MRM and Altuwairiqi transportation accordingly to general procurement policy of Al-Ittefaq Steel Co. 2) Develop new vendors for Altuwairqi transportation (Actros and Volvo trucks spare parts vendors also new service vendors and workshops) which provide more economic sources that save the cost and time. 3) Use tire rethreading to save the cost by reusing used tires also developing new vendors for new tires by introducing new brands which provide alternative economic options. 4) Develop new vendors for MRM especially for main shredder machine, shear machine and caterpillar generators & MTU generators and contact directly with manufacturers and authorized local agents.

I work as procurement engineer for Arab Steel Comapny and National Steel Company.

I work as project procurement engineer at Arab steel company project until project completion and plant start. Some of the work tasks that I handled during this period: 1) Purchase contracts for piping systems in the plant. 2) Purchase contract for CCTV system inside the plant. 3) Purchase contract for LPG gas supply for the plant.

I was incharge for external and internal purchase for industrial materials as well cost estimation and pricing and complete logistic process and material management. My work tasks in the company include: 1) Meet with foreign suppliers agents and check the new equipments and make new orders as per the market demands and Saudi standards. 2) Provide after sale service such as spare parts and accessories for machines. 3) Control and manage the stock of the company by checking the quantity and the market demands. 4) Managing and control all the logistic and shipping processes of the equipments and materials from the factory to our warehouse including the insurances and the standard certificates and dealing with the shipping line and sea port authorities . 5) I participate in the preparation and editing for the new Industrial catalogue of the company. 6) I participate in implementing ISO 9001 standard for the company. 7) I design the racking system for our warehouses. The company is providing too many products for example: Generators Electric Motors, Power Tools, Air Compressor, Heavy machines, Drilling machines, Garage Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, Saw Machines, Cleaning Equipment, Lubrication Equipment, Hand Tools In addition to many other products.

Our responsibility there is to meet with the customers and hear their demands and offer the new services to them also read and analysis the documents for enquires to understand their demands and arrange a meetings between the professionals from the manufacturing companies and the end user to get information regarding the problems that our customers face also we were providing after sale services such as spare parts and maintenance . Our goal was to get new customers by providing high quality products with competitive price that meet the customers' demands and specifications.

The company had a contract to install Fiber optics network for Motorola in Jeddah, We did first a complete survey for the target districts and the collected data used in the design and as per the design we did the implementation.
