Rares Brutaru

Hello! My name is Rares, a final-year International Business student specializing in Supply Chain & Operations Management, currently based in The Hague. I’m someone who enjoys understanding how things move, how processes work behind the scenes, and how small improvements can create big efficiencies. Over the past few years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in logistics, inventory management, sales, and business development, from the fast-paced retail floor at Foot Locker to co-founding a small web development startup. These experiences taught me how to work with different types of people, take ownership of my tasks, and stay adaptable when things get busy (or chaotic). I’d describe myself as analytical, curious, and organized, the kind of person who likes solving problems, figuring out why something isn’t working, and improving it step by step. I thrive when I’m working with others, especially in cross-functional teams where communication and collaboration make a difference. Right now, I’m looking for an internship in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, or Business/Process Improvement where I can apply what I’ve learned, contribute to real projects, and continue building my skills in a professional environment.
