It has been extremely exciting for me to be part of the Spanish and Latin American Society Committee one more year.

As a Hardware Engineer Intern at Sedecal, a prominent medical device company, I immersed myself in a dynamic summer internship experience in the lab working closely with the Hardware Engineering team. My tasks included: - I was introduced to FPGA programming and programmed Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) using CCS Uniflash, equipping me with valuable expertise in digital signal processing, and gained valuable experience in the hardware FPGA world. - Gained insights into Servo Control Printed Board Assembly (PBA) and its various units and utilized Altium for schematic design. - I participated in DFX (Design for Excellence) meetings, collaborating with cross-functional teams and coming up with improvements. Gained insights into project management. - Engaged in client visits and product showcases. - Learnt about VHDL, including Impact, Project test bench, and ChipScope for FPGA development. - Conducted testing and debugging procedures to validate hardware functionality and performance.

Extremely grateful for having this position at this university institution with over 500 members from all over the world with the aim of promoting and spreading the Spanish and Latin culture, life, food and language. My role includes: -Teaching B2 level Spanish Language classes to members for free -Hosting weekly social and cultural events -Collaborating with many other UCL societies for exciting events
