Oui Tutor was founded during the pandemic by me and other graduates of my elementary/middle school as a way to help with learning challenges during the shutdown of in-person education. We hoped to connect to kids to help with the isolation during the pandemic. Utilizing Zoom, we provided after school homework assistance in French and in English, raised money for the school and supported young learners. I'm currently serving on the Advisory Board, assisting with projects as needed and providing support for digital tools.

As CFO, I tracked statistics, managed donations, built partnerships and assisted with our website, in additional to collaborating on vision and programming as well as providing actual tutoring. We also created a sustainable structure that raises up other teens and gives them a chance to learn how to run a nonprofit while training them to be effective Board members, earning our 501 (c)(3) status.

We expanded our services by partnering with Vibrant Minds Charter School (a Title I school in Anaheim, CA), and created a Board of Trustees to manage the Mission, Vision and goals of the organization. During my time with Oui Tutor, we grew to over 30 tutors providing up to 80 sessions of tutoring a week during the school year and are continuing to train new tutors and find new ways to serve.

Extensive experience tutoring in both English and French, subjects as varied as AP Chemistry, mathematics, and reading.

Provide excellent customer service, maintain and clean equipment, assure facilities are clean and welcoming.

Assist Entrepreneur with office set up and digital business solutions. Worked on office renovations, event planning, social outreach, and improving the existing CRM to work across multiple tech stacks. Implemented the use of DBCs (digital business cards) to save costs and improve the onboarding process. I also ran CPLs, with ended up saving the company $1500 a week in non profitable ads. Additionally working along side a CPA taught me about different investment strategies, cash flow management, and the importance of long vs short term gains/goals. Provide administration support to Bolsa Personal Financial Investments, an initiative to create financial stability for underserved Mexican communities in Southern California.

Referee and linesman for 16U and under. Provide a safe environment for all players while enforcing the Official Rules of USA hockey.

Coursework in Engineering, Computer Science, AP Bio, AP Chem; AP Calculus, AP Physics, IB Business, IB English as well French (IB) and Chinese (9th, 10th grade). Gold Honor Roll grades 9, 10,11. GPA weighted 4.4/unweighted 3.87. Recipient Saint Damien Award.
