New 105,000 sq ft (~9,750 m2) twin-pad Ice Hockey Arena connected to the existing Community Campus buildings. The project contains two NHL-size ice pads, spectator seating for 400 and 150 respectively, 6 change rooms per rink including 2 fully accessible rooms, a gender-neutral change room, two referee rooms, 7,500 sq ft (~700 m2) of tenant space for professional sports agency group, multipurpose lounge overlooking both rinks, concession, retail space, administrative offices, guest services desk, puck shooting rink, parking for 286 cars, senior soccer field and a junior baseball diamond. The superstructure consists of about 1,900,000 Lbs. (~ 860 tons) of structural steel enclosed with architectural insulated metal panels and glazing. Design team: A49 and WSP
