I am working at Adept in Singapore on System Engineering with Mobile Robots (AGV). My work involves devising solutions for the customers using the Adept Mobile Robot Platforms and do complete system engineering on turnkey basis. This involves design and development of applications in .NET, C++, writing code in Python, PLC's and Microcontrollers(Embedded Systems). I also do prototyping of electronics hardware (mainly IO systems), customised sensor development for autonomus vehicles (AGV) and other customizations with both hardware and software. These integrations involve development of Web Applications and extensive Wireless Networking for Robot Communications. I have extensive experience with custom vision applications involving the use of industial cameras, custom vision algorithm development and application development for High Speed Robot Applications, High Precision Robotic Assembly (~8 Microns), and Mobile robot vision.

My association at ABB started as a internship trainee while I was in my 3'rd year of Engineering. During this time I learnt about robotics and its applications in the industry. Thereafter I did my final year project at ABB which involved design and development of an AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle). Soonafter, I joined ABB as a management trainee in the year 2006. During my professional career at ABB, I got a lot of oppurtunities to do industrial automation projects involving Robotics. My job was to do application engineering and general project management. I also had an oppurtunity to work at ABB Sweden, R&D on the Robot Development.

Activities and Societies: I did my Bachelors Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from BMSIT, Bangalore.

I did my schooling with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science and English) as a part of C.B.S.E curriculum.
