Randy Maslow

Co-founded iAnthus Capital in 2014 and served as the President and a member of the Board of Directors from the Company’s inception until May, 2022. Appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer by the Company’s board in April, 2020 and served in that role for more than two years. iAnthus was a pioneering acquiror and operator of licensed cannabis cultivation, manufacturing and dispensary facilities throughout the United States with more than 1000 employees in 11 states, and the first U.S. multistate cannabis operator to become publicly traded, through a groundbreaking listing on the Canadian Securities Exchange in 2016. Prior to iAnthus, Randy Maslow was a tech industry senior executive, entrepreneur, and attorney with more than three decades experience in private practice and as General Counsel to emerging companies in the telecom and internet industries. Executive Vice President and General Counsel at one of the first online travel companies before joining the founding management team of the early nationwide internet service provider that became XO Communications (later acquired by Verizon for $1.8 billion), serving as Senior Vice President for Business Development and General Counsel and a board member. Following the Company’s IPO, founded and led a New York-based angel investor network for startup technology companies. Subsequently co-founded Internet Gaming Entertainment U.S., serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel and as a board member. IGE pioneered the currency exchange business for virtual assets in multi-player online games and became both the world's largest virtual currency trader for online games and a leading worldwide publisher of multi-player computer game content, with more than 400 employees in the U.S. and Asia. Received an AB degree in Government from Cornell University and a JD from Rutgers Law School, graduating with honors and serving as an editor of the law review. Prior to entering the tech industry, Randy Maslow was an attorney in private practice with Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Florida, and previously with the Philadelphia law firms White and Williams and Blank Rome. Founding member of the Federal Policy Council of the National Cannabis Industry Association, and board member of the Cannabis Trade Federation, the United States Cannabis Council, the New Jersey Cannabis Trade Association, the New York Medical Cannabis Industry Association, and the Massachusetts Responsible Regulation Alliance. Today, Randy Maslow is a private investor and strategic advisor in the regulated cannabis and health sciences sectors.
