Randolph Brazier

Global Head of Clean Power Systems | Global Sustainability @ HSBC

About

I am passionate about creating a sustainable energy system that reduces carbon emissions and helps to minimise the negative impacts of climate change. To achieve this, a range of new and innovative technologies, financial mechanisms, markets, policies and behavioural changes are required. All countries, sectors and people must contribute – a ‘whole system’ approach to energy decarbonisation is essential. I am currently Global Head of Clean Power Systems at HSBC, and I also participate in a range of sustainability and climate related Advisory Boards, for example at the UNECE and World Economic Forum. I enjoy doing all this with a smile on my face! I have an M.Phil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge, and I am a regular presenter and panellist at a wide range of sustainability and clean investment focused events.
