I originally joined the Birchwood team as a Service Technician. It was a first hand education in the importance of getting it right the first time. In June 2012, I assumed the Estimating & Purchasing Coordinator role and moved into the office. In this position I collaborated with the Construction Manager to develop cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and budget forecasts for all new residential construction, including single and multi-family projects, such as Boulevard Townes of Quarry Park, Bristol Townhomes, The Range in Cochrane, Currie Barracks, and City Life Homes.

ITI provides in-house and sub-contracted IT services to the BC Government, including capital projects and proprietary software. It was my responsibility to review RFQ and RFP documents, complete interviews to compile a team of consultants with the required technical skills, negotiate pay rates, and compile bid submissions under the strict guidelines of the BC Government.

Trickle Creek builds incredible custom homes tailored to each clients' taste and lifestyle. The expectation for meticulous attention to detail begins with the foundation and continues throughout the warranty. Custom homes create custom issues and each day was an opportunity to learn something new. As Warranty Manager, it was my responsibility to coordinate and execute the warranty program in accordance with the Alberta New Home Warranty guidelines. It is essential to foster a strong network of homeowners and trade partners to efficiently resolve warranty claims and boost customer satisfaction - challenges during the build process are inevitable and the warranty is an opportunity to leave a lasting positive impression. This position allowed me the freedom to refine the internal documentation and implement detailed warranty tracking to optimize the amount of work completed within the one-year warranty and restrict costs arising from work outside the scope/timeline of the warranty.
