Background Experience Create CAD/drawing files per customer requirements, create new drawings, revise drawings, and maintain configuration control. Develop drawings from rough sketches, schematics, verbal instructions. Understand materials and finishes used in PTD designs. Support the preparation of proposals as required. Work with related software programs (Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Excess, PowerPoint, Etc.) Suggest cost improvements to engineers Understand the manufacturing processes, Company Safety Policy, Company Quality Policy, and PTD Drafting Standards Participate in product design changes and new product development processes Support and assist the Engineering team and Engineering Manager as needed. Understand and work under the direction of the appropriate safety policy and/or procedure. Associate degrees in Industrial and General Technology, which relates to CAD, Desk Inventor, Robotics, and other Engineering requirements. I have 10+ years computer aided drafting (CAD) experience and experience working in ERP systems or equivalent education and experience. Working knowledge of Industry Standards. Advanced computer skills with emphasis on MS office and drafting software. PHYSICAL/MENTAL SKILLS: •Ability to use office equipment, such as: PC, photocopier, fax machine, etc. •Ability to multi-task and prioritize different projects and workload. •Ability to work with diverse groups. •Ability to communicate with others to complete work.
