Ramzi Ghazali

I'm a director with an engineering background and 20 years of executive experience. I'm passionate about using my experience to help companies achieve their goals by sharing new perspectives & best practices, as well as co-creating sustainable solutions. I'm currently the Plant Director of Western Bainoona Group, a leading construction company in UAE, where I run numerous multi-national teams, from crushers and asphalt plants to transportation, heavy equipment and the garage. During this role, I've established and implemented projects to improve safety, performance and efficiency throughout the company. Some of these projects include the establishment of a training department for improving and monitoring driver and operator performance, the improvement of a telematics system, and the introduction of fuel management systems. I started my industrial journey in 1991 as a multi-task engineer in Alam Steel Industries, a company manufacturing trailers and truck superstructures. By 1997, I was entrusted to establish a branch in Abu Dhabi, where I led the workshop development then the day-to-day running for 6 years. I then shifted back to Kuwait as the General Manager of the company and became partner within 3 year. Throughout my tenure as GM, I expanded operations by establishing a workshop in Qatar where we quickly became the market leaders, doubled the company's valuation within 8 years, and led the end-to-end process of establishing a new facility from scratch, which is proudly running to this day. We were the distributers of leading names in the industry from USA, Germany, Sweden, Italy, France and other countries, including waste management equipment, fuel systems, hydraulic components, pumps and accessories. Outside of work, I'm passionate about preserving Mother Nature through clean farming and sharing good practices with the community. I could use thousands of characters talking about no-dig farming, compost, healthy soil, ladybirds, and bees, so I'd rather do that outside this bio.
