Managing all Purchasing activities of Gemlik Turkey for different product groups including indirect purchases and new Projects.Updates annually all segments purchasing strategy Builds Suppliers Panel,Works with key Project team to ensure projects requirements are being met within segment strategy.Drawing up and Implementing active cost reduction efforts on parts relying on department strategy regarding approved vendors and volume effect opportunities, using all available leverage (technical changes, new programs, logistic, negotiations, purchasing and re-sourcing to low cost countries like CHINA Prepares & Drives -MTP -Purchasing Annual Budget ( Direct,Indirect,Direct labor and Transport ) -Product productivities ( Nego,Resourcing and Localization,Technical,Market Effect etc) -Non-product productivities inc Transport and Investment -Direct Labor productivity

Prepare and submit Contract Approval Application and Investment Authorization Request -Solve all project issues with support of simultaneous engineering functions -Check and validate Project Team Members activities and propose timing scenario to achieve milestones -Ensure project objectives in terms of profitability (product and development), quality, cost, timing -Define and manage the budget (all resources) -Manages all project changes from customers -Prepare project phases reviews at Project Management Committee and Project Validation Committee level

-Build up project supplier target panel from pre-SOCO (Sourcing Committee) with commodity organisation (RSL/BGSL) to bundle awards -Achieves project purchasing index -Voice of segment strategy in the project, and voice of the project to the segments -Install competition between suppliers after pre-SOCO, bringing at least two suppliers at the same technical level before the SOCO for all components, proceeds with all negotiations before sourcing to push the cost down -Leverage commodity organisation to reach pre-sourcing, sourcing decisions and meet project targets and offset with supply base quick savings imposed by customers -Ensures timely sign off with the segments of all supplier contracts related the project (from development contracts to mass production) -For global platforms assembled in multiple plants of Valeo, coordinates with PG/PLPPD and other project buyers to ensure project will meet from SOP with (i) commodity strategy requirement in every region, (ii) localisation in line with needs of receiving plant, (iii) global leverage and securisation of the supply base for the platform -Liaise with purchasing Non Production organisation to achieve project investments and tooling targets -Manages achievement of all project milestones related to suppliers -Defines and controls communication flows and contents between project teams and suppliers -Warrants utilisation of Group project purchasing and suppliers quality tools and information systems -Ensure capacities for all components are covered for his project, in liaison with the commodity organisation
