* Ensure seamless operation of the financial accounting system * Support the Financial Controller in developing a suitable management reporting framework for the organization. * Develop procedural manuals for all finance and procurement processes. * Ensure prompt preparation of the financial statements in accordance with International Financial reporting standards * Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements including tax filing and remittance. * Manage relationship with tax authorities, external auditors and joint venture partners. * Work with the external auditor to ensure a clean and timely year end audit * Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data held in the organization financial database. * Manage all statutory financial and tax audits. * Generate monthly reports for both internal and external use. * Ensure regular review and improvement of the financial accounting and bookkeeping practices within the organization.

* Responsible for negotiating contracts; including management of contracts, defining scope of the contract, interpretation of plans and change orders or variation order request, and ensuring that project goals are met. * Reviews all benefits invoices for accuracy and ensure internal processing for timely remittance. * Lead the recruitment team for all assessment exercises, participate and provide best practice advice to recruitment panels. * Assists Payroll Officer in maintaining, and monitoring HR legal regulations of all benefits programs to ensures compliance with government regulations * Liaising with necessary authorities, follow up on statutory matters including various taxes and pension. * Compute and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirement. * Attendance and co-ordination of post audit reconciliation meeting by the States Internal Revenue Service. * Prepare year-end schedules for final audit. * Advice on Administration and Personnel matters
