1) Responsibility of overall finance function of 4 companies operating in Zambia. 2) Ensure compliance of financial reporting and comply with group reporting. 3) Review of monthly financial performance, tracking of long term contracts, price control of high volume commodities and implementation of cost optimization initiatives. 4) Working capital management, credit risk management and cross currency hedge to reduce exposure against local currency. 5) Ensure tax compliance for VAT, Income tax, PAYE, NAPSA and Customs. 6) Raising fund and other banking facilities at country level for additional capacity build up. 7) Business Analysis and support operation team for smooth working.

1) Preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly and yearly management accounts. Business Plan, forecast and variance for internal and external reporting. 2) Preparation of financial reporting pack for standalone and consolidation through HFM for group reporting. 3) Drive automation projects and add value to already automated consolidated process to close books well in time and standardization of process across all entities. 4) Consolidation of cost reduction initiatives, driving initiative team with respective business unit team members, tracking of progress and identification of new initiatives with cross functional teams. 5) Preparation of Exco pack, quarterly board pack and other supporting data for board meeting. 6) Overall responsibility of external and internal audit of the company. 7) Ensuring compliance and policy governance at corporate function. 8) Manage finance of support function (HR, IT, CSR including schools and hospital, security). 9) Overseeing insurance function at KCM ensuring adequate coverage of all risk exposures. 10) Ensure faster claim processing, starting from initial survey till finalization.

1) Responsible for overall finance function and managing key performance indicators, operational performance indicators, strategic initiatives, risk scenarios & business plans. 2) Review of unit level MIS & financials, ensuring integrity of all reported financial statements, supervising and managing audits. 3) Optimizing in spend base through outsourcing, efficiency, pricing opportunity and managing overall spend base of $ 200 + million. 4) Provide critical financial support to business team to align with long term objectives. 5) Capex Evaluation, Payback Review, Project evaluation and Project monitoring. 6) Ensure inventory control to minimize working capital blockage. 7) Part of mining contract negotiation team. Ensure compliance and governance in commercial process.

1) Prepare monthly MIS consisting of Operational Performance and Financial Performance of unit. 2) Finalisation of Accounts at unit level with applicable Accounting Standards and Accounting policies. 3) Prepare Financial Reporting Statement for consolidation purpose at company level. 4) Capex Evaluation, Payback Review, Project evaluation, Project monitoring and accounting. 5) Preparation of Business Plan considering SBUs installed capacity, different activities of operations, required resources for operations, financial implication, required CAPEX for expansion etc. 6) Analyzing the contract terms, evaluation and assessment of rate, interpreting contractual obligations & rights. 7) Preparation of cost benefit analysis with respect to departmental cost and contract cost. 8) Evaluation of procurement proposal based on price, credit period, tax credits, local taxes, availability, substitute available etc. 9) Prepare Mining and Milling Cost , SBU wise Unit Costing , Activity Based Costing for mining operations and Variance analysis on month to month. 10) Prepare Cost benefit analysis for improvement project taken at unit level from operational team.
