Monitored KPI’s from inception to launch for proactive risk mitigation. Collaborated with cross-functional teams including test operations, field test, labs, design and development teams, reliability, quality, plant, readiness, sourcing, commercial teams, customer, safety and compliance. Successfully delivered over 4000 verification and validation tasks, helping achieve program goals and ensuring compliance with emission standards. Worked with sub-system subject matter experts to promptly resolve test cell and field test fleet issues improving uptime by 20%. Helped mitigate a six-month program delay by managing ambiguity and complexity, ensuring decision quality and accountability while leveraging and developing processes/tools to optimize work.

Design and Development- Plant Support- Supply Chain Responsible for plant support, product and process change management, warranty analysis. Led engineering group transformation which resulted in 200% reduction of product change projects. Provided engineering support for complex engine block machining operations, guided GD&T, worked with plant operations, quality, materials to support deviations and end of line test issues, conducted line and plant audits. Plant built engines received the prestigious J.D power award for highest quality in the segment. Led base engine current product support team through complex supply chain interruptions. Provided risk mitigation for various part shortages and unexpected challenges to prevent expensive line down situations. Problem-solving- Customer- Service Delivered engineering solutions for varying complex issues with tough constraints to reduce warranty for light duty engines. Supported program from launch to end of production. Projects ranged from $100k to $25 million in warranty savings. Developed a highly capable problem-solving team to support warranty projects and service issues. Mechanical development- Cost & Warranty reduction- Global engineering support Eliminated coolant filters to address customer maintenance concerns, saving $1 million. Implemented nylon fuel lines, resulting in $3 million reduction in business costs. Analyzed critical data to support $40 million warranty reduction for exhaust gas coolers, and supported global program launches to help mitigate delays.

Provided leadership to metrology lab, a 10 million dollar fast- paced, dynamic facility with state-of-the-art measuring machines located in a clean room. Average workload included more than 30,000 quality control inspections a month and several challenging measurements performed by a 3-shift team of 15 technicians. Improved cycle time for lab operations. Optimized process to improve efficiency, which resulted in $500,000 cost savings. Improved measurement correlation between CMM’s resulting in $250,000 scrap reduction. Developed and implemented new business critical inspection CMM’s. Deployed measurement programs for 10 production lines. Improved machine down time and operator training.
