Headquartered in Mumbai, India, SeQuent has 11 manufacturing facilities based in India, Turkey, Spain and Brazil with approvals from global regulatory bodies including USFDA, EUGMP, WHO, TGA among others.  Responsible for the global sourcing of Active pharmaceutical ingredients, Excipients for Solid, oral & Injectables dosage.  Identifies global sources, oversees competitive bidding and supplier selection, negotiates contracts and manages ongoing supplier relationships.  Alternate source development of APIs & Excipients for cost saving & risks assessment & mitigation of the same.  Evaluate a supplier’s level of innovation and skills that would potentially be useful for company’s strategic goals.  Working in close co-ordination with R&D, project management team,portfolio management, commercial procurement team & satisfying our internal customer need.  Data mining , analysing & compiling the data from various sources for establishing strong costing structure.  Maintaining the database of all APIs & excipients, evaluating them time to time depending on the priority & as per requirement  Manage supply base performance against targets (quality / delivery / cost) through active supplier monitoring, competitive and cost analysis.  Exploring opportunities to enter in to long term supply contracts and executing the same to secure value chain at competitive price. Strategic Sourcing, Key RM's Sourcing & Purchases.  Identification and Development of new vendors on need base to ensure business sustainability  Monitor & improve vendor development, Cost Tracking & Control Processes  Cost reduction & Budget preparation leading to year on year savings.  Develop and maintain supplier contracts for all type of project & capex purchases.

Material sourcing, Negotiation, Vendor estimation/development, Inventory Control, Purchase budget submission, MIS, Stores- production and finance co-ordination and imports of material.  Responsible for Procurement of chemical, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation items.  Buying & importing of Raw material.  Responsible for procurement of Piping, fittings, valves, gaskets & fasteners as per BOM of Plant.  Expediting the all functions of Procurement till receipt of materials at project site.  Checking of drawing of equipment, fittings & approving the drawing QAP as per requirement.  Inspection of material at vendor site & give approvals for dispatch of materials.  Project Budgets, Cost Control Reports, Cash-flows, Monitor costs and generate variance reports as and when required. PROJECT RESPONSIBILITY:-  Preparing for Costing & Budgeting of new projects.  Preparing of Project Master Schedule by coordinating with all department like Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Electrical & Civil. Prepare & updating Schedule for Project.  Preparation of Internal weekly reports which gives the quantitative progress of Engineering .  Development & updating of Bar charts for Engineering process, Procurement, Erection.  Deliverables, Procurement, overall progress, milestone achievement and critical issues.  Planning & Mobilization of the resources for achieving the scheduled progress of the project.  Preparing the project schedule according to given time frame and availability of resources, for  Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities.  Preparing of Monthly Progress Report & Weekly Progress Report & submit to higher .

 Handled Boiler Operation process & Scheduling Maintenance planning.  Planning & Scheduling for Shutdown Job in Boiler & allocation of job to the maintenance team.  Preventive maintenance.  Cost saving, & increasing boiler efficiency.  Material Management The work mainly involved the operation & maintenance of following utilities: • Air Compressors • D.M.
