Joined eBay's startup team in 1998. Was the 30th employee and part of the startup team that took eBay public (NASD: EBAY) and created one of the most successful e-commerce companies in the world. As its Principal Engineer and Architect, I was responsible for the design, development and scaling of eBay's Search Engine and its Architecture. Was responsible for the Search engine scaling over 1000x in four years.

Software Engineer (1994-1996), Senior Software Engineer (1996-1997). Led teams in software development for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications using Neural Networks. Development environment included Fortran, PLC's, C++, Java, Corba, HTML, Javascript, Oracle and SQL.

Thesis - A Boeing/FAA funded project - AI/SAS/Signal Processing, Probability Of Detection (POD) models for detecting flaws in aircraft wheels using Non Destruction Evaluation (NDE) methods. Technology involved Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Neural Networks, Probability and Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS), Electromagnetics, Ultrasound and Xrays. The thesis was published as a paper in IEEE.
