As Head of Finance I report to the CEO of the business as well as to the Board on financial and regulatory aspects of airport business. MCIAA project is a 25 year BOT project for Mactan Cebu which is the 2nd busiest Airport in Philippines handling 15% of the total Air traffic of Philippines. During the last 10 years , Mactan Cebu witnessed a growth of 12% with Intl traffic growing at a CAGR of 15% while the Dom traffic has grown at 11%. My underline achievement and current role has been: - Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure MCIAA achieves its strategic targets and budgeted objectives while ensuring compliant environment laid out by internal and external stakeholders. - Treasury management and debt servicing and hedging of future forex revenues and bringing down the cost of finance substantially. Financial closure of above USD 500 Million long term loan with international and local institutions. - Business Intelligence and Analytic to support the decision making by bringing better tools to analyze business data for current projects as well as analyzing the data for new business development initiatives in Philippines. - Taxation and Tax Planning including incentive schemes environment and leveraging the same with Govt. agencies and other stakeholders. - Actively involved to overlook Procurement function of the business with objectives like realigning the objectives of various functions with overall short term and long term strategy of business for an ever changing consumer and economic climate.

Delhi Duty Free Shops (DDFS) is a private limited company in India, consisting of two shareholders, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) (a GMR group Company), and Aer Rianta International / Dublin Airport Authority (a Govt. of Ireland Corporation) As CFO I reported to the CEO of the business, while liaising with all shareholders on board issues. On operational issues I liaise with all stakeholders to ensure DDFS achieves its strategic targets and budgeted objectives while ensuring compliance environment laid out by internal and external stakeholders is complied with. DDFS commercial area covers over 4,500 sq meters, with sales in excess of USD 125 Million per annum. I had 6 direct reports that cover various areas including MIS, Budgets and Forecasts, Business Modelling, Accounting, Taxation, Treasury, Audits, Secretarial and Compliance, IT, Business Analytic, Administration and Stock Control. My underline achievement in this role was restructuring the debt structure with change of financial institution and bringing down the cost of finance substantially. I have also been accredited for introducing business Intelligence and Analytic to support the decision making by bringing better tools to analyse business data. I have been actively involved to overlook Procurement function of the business with objectives like realigning the objectives of various function with overall short term and long term strategy of business for an ever changing consumer and economic climate.

Worked as Finance Head in the Company which is a Joint Venture between World Duty free Group (An Autogrill venture) and Pantaloon Retail. Responsibilities included Accounting, MIS, Budgets and Forecasts, Taxation and IT. Job responsibilities included setting of Noida ADC and Corporate office for onward merging with overall operating plan. Capturing of Actual expenses and comparison of metrics thereof with Annual, Quarterly and monthly budgets. Further responsible for Accounts reviews, STPI compliance & Customs compliance and capitalization matters.

Responsible for smooth functioning of Rs. 42 Crore Fund based and Rs. 6 Crore non-fund based limit from consortium of bankers and compliance needed for the same in relation to filing of monthly stock statement and stock audits. Further responsible for ensuring statutory and internal audits in assistance to Accounts Team and consolidation of monthly business analysis report for corporate office in Canada in assistance to Budgeting Team.
