Over all Procurement functions including vendor development, commercial negotiations etc. for all Direct and Indirect Materials for the Green field Project (Manufacturing unit) at Sanand (Ahmedabad). Function Areas: Vendor Development/ Negotiations/ Finalization of supplier/ PO placement/ Follow-up/ Logistics planning/ Material Delivery

• Procurement of raw materials such as color, pigments, perfumes, actives, chemicals etc, used for cosmetics manufacturing & components such as Cartoon, Bottles, Caps, Tubes etc. • Implementing suitable pickup plan to ensure timely availability of material. • Looking after the production planning and maintaining inventory as per the plan for next 6 months. • Formulating and implementing the project procurement strategy by developing / modifying strategy for purchase and establishing methods to achieve project targets • Provides supports and approvals for disposing rejected raw materials. Also handling the processing of satisfactory replacement. • Coordinating with vendors for scheduling of shipments and with stores for shipments arrival. • Follow up with supplier for shipments as per schedule • Establishing new vendors or new product based on latest with help of Product planning and R&D. • Preparing and maintain MIS. • Member of the QAD implementation team.

• Handling the overall Supply Chain Management for PIPL-MW Division includes Forecasting, procurement & scheduling, ordering & shipment line up etc. • Purchasing of Capital Items like Machinery items, RM’s like Radome, reflectors, Aluminum castings & Packing Materials like carton boxes, EP sheets, Foam & wooden packaging etc. • Supply Chain Operations Planning and Management • Inventory management and control • Procurement and vendor development, including domestic and international procurement. • Working knowledge of ERP. • Managing all the shipments from overseas.
