Indirect Material procurement:(2 Yrs) Define and implement (Sub) Commodity and pooling strategies (based on conducted demand, market and supplier analyses) within area of responsibility; evaluate and document in Commodity Strategy Master (CSM) / Strategic Material Segment (SMS) and update regularly; communicate the strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials. Support superior Pooling functions (e.g. PuC) Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings. Negotiate frame contracts; document frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems Foster usage of E-Procurement tools (eRfX, eAuction/ eBidding); ensure that contract structures are transferable in E Catalogues (applicable esp. for Indirect Material) to improve the Procurement process and efficiency

Major components looking for Global sourcing from India Yaw Gear ,Yaw ring , cooler, large steel machining parts fabricated and machining , Rotor house, Brake disk bearings ,FRP parts ,canopy spinner & Electrical commodity etc. -Support the development, and implementation of Global Sourcing activities for electricals and mechanicals, for wind power industry, in cooperation with E W Commodity Managers Assessment of a company's current spending - Assessment of the supply market (who offers what?). - Total cost analyses (how much does it cost to provide those goods or services?). - Identification of suitable suppliers. - Development of a sourcing strategy (where to purchase, considering demand and supply situations, while minimizing risk and costs). - Negotiation with suppliers (products, service lev els, prices, geographical coverage, etc.). - Drive design-to-localization initiatives together with the supplier and our Global commodity colleagues in order to substantially reduce the costs of the end product. - RFQ, Scrutiny of drawings, Specifications & other requirements in details. - Find out solutions and support during the agreement between Global team and supplier. - Technical discussion with supplier for the requirements of products and difficulty during the entire process. - Presentations on updated activities for India sourcing status with all Commodity managers on monthly and quarterly basis for update to Top management. - Support for QMS Audit and FAI at supplier places along with Global commodity team. - Prepared time line and schedule for entire project to get better output in advance. - Closely work with all Commodity team e.g. Quality, Engineering for sort out supplier queries. - Support from India at Global level for Denmark, China & US for each commodity team when as required

Supplier Assessment *Supplier assessment and evaluation for new development components. *Provide and evaluate supplier qualification profile. *Supplier process and product audit for electromechanical components for Siemens wind Power QAP and Specification for critical components. Control of nonconforming material. Continual improvement through out all Respective Area. Technical support for development items. Corrective and preventive action on non conformities material e.g. 8D report etc. Failure mode effective analysis for observed defect. Inspection and Testing at supplier end. Support to supply change management for new development components. Plan for qualification of supplier. System and process audit of supplier. Product audit Qualification. First article inspection for new development components. Usage decision for new development components. Technical support supply change for development items. Corrective and preventive action on non conformities material e.g. 8D report etc. Failure mode effective analysis for observed defect. Inspection and Testing at supplier end.

-Inspection and testing of electromechanically components of Wind Turbine generators(WEC). -Work Instructions, Specifications and Quality Assurance plan for new development items. Test setup for new development major components to minimize defects as well as to reducing time in inspection. -Continual improvement in through out all specific area to reduce the cost of WEC by valuable suggestions and developed parallel source for each major component. -Follow the IS, IEC, UL approval standard, VDE standard for all development components. -Sourcing the vendors & conducting techno-commercial negotiations to finalize deals for regular operation and maintenance of the plant and project execution; preparing specification sheet for bought out equipments. -Designing, implementing and monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalizing the specifications of the spare parts and establishing the quality & quantity limits. - Quarterly vendor analysis feedback for each major A class components to minimize the defects as well rejection percentage for continual improvement. -Quarterly Analysis of Inspection lots of total receipt components for minimize the Inspection time. -Procure and selection of Testing Equipment for In house Quality Assurance Test lab.
