I love designing critical Analog/digital blocks and look forward to get good technical depth in this field. Studying electronics has been my passion since high school and have eventually developed even more interest in it. Opting for Master's studies was a further step towards this interest. I was also involved in designing of DC-DC Power converter circuits and corresponding Gate driver boards. Additionally, Implementating of IGBT gate driver circuit using Gate Driver optocoupler IC with Desat protection.

I was part of a training program carried out by Siemens Sitrain division. The main objective of this training program included detailed study of AC and DC drives. After completing theoretical study, we carried out experiments on Induction Motor Drive system, tested various functions and possible faults occurring in drive or motor system. Both hardware and software domains for the drive were covered. This training program gave me hands-on experience of operating motor drives.

This was a training internship at Bhabha Atomic Research Center, for a duration of 1 month. The training was carried out at various facilities within BARC, namely: 1) Waste Immobilization Plant (WIP) : The plant operation was studied, which was responsible for separating radioactive material from the liquid waste generated by nuclear reactor. Various instruments were reviewed for measuring radioactivity, pressure and temperature measurement. 2) Hall 7 Substation: Under this facility, I studied the Single Line Diagrams depicting the power distribution to various other plants in BARC complex. Pertaining electrical power calculations were carried out and verified with existing plant data.

My responsibility was to carry out and supervise installation of various Electrical and Instrumentation systems such as MCC, PCC, VFD panels and PLCs. Involved in and supervision of cable scheduling, cable laying, standalone testing and commissioning of systems. One of the major installation work was with ECIL contract, on project "Diagnostic Neutral Beam Acceleration Grid Power Supply”. The purpose of the project was to generate high negative voltage, from grid connection, used for particle acceleration.

Responsible for design of Power/Analog electronics circuit and control for PM DC Motor start soft application. My key role include using MATLAB Simulink/ PSice simulation models to settle on design values, making the application function as desired. The design values were implemented on practical system and results were compared, to finalize a design which is cost effective and reliable. Implemented corresponding PCB design layout using Cadsoft Eagle, Analog gate driver circuitary and overall vehicle control programming. My work also involved implementing cascaded Rail-to-Rail topology for boundary wire detection of automatic-mower. The inputs of Op-amp were given pulsatin voltage inputs, when in proximity with boundary wire, which formed as a feedback for the auto-mower to stop and change its course of motion. My experience is wonderful, since I added many skills to my profile and learned various problem solving techniques!
