Rahmat Group

The business conglomerate, Rahmat Group started back in 1988 by Mr. Altaf Hossain Sarker, Chairman, Rahmat Group with "Rahmat Textiles Ltd". After years of successful business in the textile industry, the group started its spinning mill-“Rahmat Spinning Ltd” in 1998. Soon, the group started growing and moved to specialise in accessories through “China Plastic Ltd”- a joint venture company with China, in 2000. Nevertheless, to be more competitive in the textile industry, it started its own knit-dyeing & finishing through “Rahmat Knit-Dyeing & Finishing” in 2002. In 2012, Rahmat Group introduced the more advanced form of spinning by using rotors which generated higher productivity, and the company was named “Rahmat Rotors Ltd”. Since we already were acing in the textile industry, we thought of having a stronghold in the RMG industry with “Rahmat Fashionwear Ltd” in 2016. Aligning with the time, we also diversified our business into the financial sector through our two major concerns – Dhaka Bank Ltd (1995) & Express Insurance Ltd (2000). Not only we are one of the pioneers in the RMG & Textile Industry of the country, but also we hold a reputed name in the international market, mainly in the USA, UK, Switzerland, Spain, France, Hungary, Belgium & Italy.
